Walk-A-Thon Schedule

Every student is participating in the Walk-A-Thon by walking with their class at the scheduled time.  Students will have 15 minutes after walking has ended to have refreshments, change, and return to class.

We need volunteers to help count laps. If you can help, please contact Amy French in the school office.

Parents are welcome to come and encourage students during the Walk-A-Thon. Parents may walk with their child. Any student who has been warned for running more than once is disqualified from receiving an award for his or her grade.

Each class is responsible for providing nutritious snacks and drinks for the students after the scheduled walking time. Please check with your child’s teacher or homeroom parent as to what to send for the class.

Students may change into sweatpants or KNEE-LENGTH shorts for the Walk-A-Thon (not required to change).  However, if they do not meet the requirements, they may be required to change back into their regular school dress to walk.  Don’t forget your “walking” shoes!
